The original Muncy Compass (draped at left), dated 1855, is inked, hand-pieced using cotton prints and solids, and is hand quilted. Betty Neff, Diane Grick and Judith Youngman combined their talents to make a pattern for this quilt. The reproduction quilt is shown hanging at left.
There is no border. Instructions are included for both hand piecing and paper piecing the blocks.

This eagle appliqued crib quilt, circa 1850-1880, is hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted of silk plaid and cotton. Patterned by Diane Albeck-Grick and Debra Feece.
